Yoga Teacher Training In Hanoi

Yoga Teacher Training In Hanoi

This YTTC provides a fantastic opportunity to awaken or deepen your yoga practice and the ability to share the yogic lifestyle with others. Our goal is to provide students with the knowledge and insights necessary to become a certified yoga teacher.

In Ashtanga Teacher Training, we combine effective practice and teaching elements of traditional Hatha – and Ashtanga Yoga, which are not two contrary practices, but working together as one. Yoga is only one, it is Unity. We are looking at yoga as whole, not fixated on one particular “style” We are supporting our students in a healthy and balanced mind and body work. We teach Ashtanga Yoga (Mysore style) & dynamic Hatha Yoga, respecting the Structure and Alignment of the physical body as well as the energetic body. Therefore we designed our schedule in a way, so that our physical body and astral body can benefit most from it.

In our teaching we combine the ancient knowledge of Yoga with the modern understanding of body and mind. As therapists (NLP & Hypnotherapist) we integrate this knowledge in our course. Along with a strong emphasis on Asana practice and the art of adjusting, as part of the curriculum, lectures will be given on Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Mantras, Pranayama, Meditation, Chakras, Asana, Bandhas, and Anatomy.

All classes are taught in a safe and fun environment where everyone is encouraged to test their limits and move beyond their mental and physical boundaries. You will learn effective teaching tools and methods, how to confidently sequence and lead a yoga class and to safely make adjustments on your students.

Yoga is when SthiramSukhamAsanam = Stable, comfortable is an Asana or pose to Combine the Mind and Body.
We don’t have to be flexible to practice yoga, we become flexible as we start and continue with yoga.

*Pranamaya*: Pranayamas are breathing exercises developed and brought out by the ancient yogis. They are used in purifying the nadis, the energy channels, in the Pranamaya we exercise to regulate, channelize the Prana in the body. Prana is taken in through the air we breathe, and since these breathing exercises increase the amount of air we take in, they also increase our intake of Prana.
The breathing techniques, we have forgotten to breathe correctly therefore in this 5 days yoga retreat we learn from very beginning towards progressive breathing.

*Meditation*: Learn the science of mental control (better understanding), peace and health as well as to heal your mind, body and soul. To get rid of suffering. To meditate while your walking, talking, eating, working and so on.

About Ninh Binh: Ninh Binh is a good base for exploring quintessentially Vietnamese limestone scenery. Few Western tourists head here, but many Vietnamese flock to nearby sights, including the nation’s biggest pagoda and the Unesco World Heritage–listed Trang An grottoes. The region has significant natural allure. Ninh Binh is a fascinating place, where apart from an inspiring scenery, you have easy access to the rural and authentic Vietnam.

Get In:

By Taxi: Taxis from Hanoi costs US$68 Taxis from NoI Bai international airport cost $85 usd , 3-hour journey.

By Bus: There are regular buses from Hanoi’s southern bus terminal (Giap Bat) that leave every 15 min (or whenever full) 70,000 Dong. Note that this may rise to 90,000 per person with luggage.Journey time for the 90km is 3 hours or more traffic depending. Buy a ticket in the ticket hall or you will likely have to pay more than 70,000 or be removed from the bus.the service is slow but relaxed and comfortable using one of the very common Hyundai 20-odd seat buses.

Open tour buses will drop passengers off upon request (Ninh Binh is not a regular stop). Most open tour buses from Hanoi will arrive at 9:30PM. Tour buses from Hue arrive at a rather early 4AM.

From Cat Ba island you can book a bus-boat-bus-bus ticket for 230,000 dong. It leaves at 9am and takes about 5h. The first bus takes you to the western side of the island where you transfer onto a boat to the port area south of Haiphong. A second bus takes you to a bus station in the city from where transport is provided to Bến xe Niệm Nghĩa bus station. From there you wait for the bus to leave at 12pm. The bus ends at Ninh Binh bus station, walking distance from hotels and hostels. All the above uses local transports so expect locals boarding at various places. [Oct 2016]. Some buses take you all the way to Tam Coc village.

Alternative buses including tourist ones leave from Haiphong a few times a day.

By Train: Ninh Binh is a regular station for the Reunification Express, with trains coming from both North and South. It is usually a quick stop, with few people getting off, especially at night, so get off quick or miss the stop. From Hanoi, train leaves at 6:00, 9:00, 13:10, 19:30, 20:10 and 22:10 (2 and half to 3-hour ride). Ask for a cushioned seat. If you have very rigid travel dates, are traveling on a public holiday, or can’t be bothered to head down to the train station before your train you can book tickets online. Vietnam Impressive is a reliable agency. Alternatively you can now book directly through the official VNR website which is available in English. They offer an e-ticket option and seat selection service.

As of June 2015, trains only stop in Ninh Binh’s new train station, which is ~1km south of the old one. Take this into account when other sections make reference of hotels or restaurants in the train station area, as they will mean the old station.

We wish you pleasant stay and Retreat in Ninh Binh.

Namaste!
